Shipping and customs when buying peptides in the EU

Shipping is where many European orders get complicated. Understanding how customs work and who carries the risk saves you holds, extra costs and lost orders.

What happens when a parcel enters the EU

Any shipment crossing the customs border can be inspected and held. If it comes from outside the EU, it can incur import duties and VAT. A vendor based or stocked inside the EU drastically reduces that friction.

DDP vs. DAP: who pays the duties

With DDP shipping (Delivered Duties Paid) the vendor covers duties and taxes, and the parcel reaches you with no surprises. With DAP you cover them on receipt. The best vendors offer DDP or, at minimum, free re-shipment if the parcel is held at customs.

Tracking and re-shipment

A serious shipment includes a tracking number and a clear policy for lost or held parcels: re-ship or refund within a set window. Without tracking or an incident policy, a lost parcel is lost money.

The advantage of a European vendor

Operating from Slovakia, Romania, Spain or Czechia means faster intra-EU shipments (days, not weeks) and no third-country customs risk. In this comparison we mark each vendor's base precisely for this reason.

Why half the global ranking doesn't serve you

Many of the highest-globally-rated vendors (US-based) only ship within their own country: their international shipping is blocked by their payment or compliance providers. For the European buyer, their score is irrelevant. That is why our main ranking is European.
